According to Phoenix police spokesman Sgt. Tommy Thompson, Harmon was in a meeting at the office complex Wednesday morning concerning a legal matter. He got into an argument afterward with two of the people involved, Thompson said, and allegedly shot those two people. One other person was injured in the gunfire, according to Thompson.
“It appears that the two men may have been the intended victims of the shooting, while the woman may have been an unintended victim,” Thompson said in a statement.
The three shooting victims were taken to the hospital. Steve Singer, 48, died of his injuries, Thompson said. Two others were taken to the hospital for non-gunshot related injuries.
Harmon fled the scene in a Kia Optima. One witness tried to follow him, but stopped when Harmon fired at him. The witness was not injured, Thompson said. Harmon remains at large.
