Google has hired a top D.C. law firm to prepare its co-founders Sergey Brin and current CEO Larry Page for questioning by the Federal Trade Commission, which launched an antitrust investigation into the search giant in June 2011, according to a Bloomberg report on Friday.
Williams & Connolly LLP, which Google is said to have hired, also previously represented President Bill Clinton and Alan Greenspan, among other high-profile clients. The FTC is anticipated to conclude its antitrust investigation by the end of the year, at which point it will decide whether to sue Google.
