For some, bucket lists include trips to exotic locales or jumps from daring heights.

For others, volunteering at a bicycle repair shop makes the cut.

Former Sen. Scott Brown (R-MA), in addition to appearing on Fox News’ “Outnumbered” and serving as a contributor for the network, spends his days repairing and assembling bicycles, New Hampshire news site seacoastonline reported Sunday.

Brown volunteers at Gus’ Bike Shop in North Hampton, New Hampshire, according to the website. He lost the U.S. Senate race in New Hampshire last year to Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D) after moving to the state from Massachusetts.

“Back in December, I came in and said, ‘Listen, I don’t need a job, I don’t need any money, but I’ve always wanted to learn how to put together and take apart bikes,’” Brown told the site. “I kind of like it. It gets me out of the house and it gets me doing different things.”

Brown described the process of assembling bikes.

“I go up, drag it down, rip it out of the box and then basically you pull it apart and you put it all together.”

In addition to assembling bikes, Brown, who described the position as a “bucket list thing,” reportedly also takes cardboard boxes to the dump.
