Republican presidential candidate Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) live tweeted, as it was unfolding Sunday night, his thoughts on the Democratic presidential debate – from jokes about the liveliness of the discussion to a rallying cry for the Republican party.
Here are some of his standout tweets:
I hope they’re going to wear name tags during the #DemDebate tonight so I can tell who the Socialist is…

Are they going to ask the Democrats tons of questions about Donald Trump or is that just for us? #DemDebate

vacuous and irritating… if he is trying to pretend he actually has something to say he really isn’t very good at it…
BTW… next Republican debate, if he chooses to participate, I suggest they make him wear a name tag that says ‘LIBERTARIAN’ so we can tell who is pretending to that title…
I guess that answers the burning question of whether or not Rand writes his own material.
What a sore loser, emphasis on loser.
I guess not getting invited to the big boy debate gave him more time to write this A material…
He’s so full of himself, I don’t think he yet realizes how badly he’s losing. Pathetic.
