The first word that comes to mind when most people think of summer is “hot.” That’s a valid assessment, but summer’s discomfort is more than just a high number on the thermostat. Sweltering humidity can leave you sweating through your t-shirt, and poor air quality assaults your nose and adds allergies or asthma symptoms to the mix. The evaSMART Personal Air Conditioner attacks summer’s heat, humidity and air quality — and thanks to the unit’s internal WiFi module and accompanying app, you won’t even have to leave your chair.

evaSMART’S Personal Air Conditioner builds off the core features of the original evaLIGHT by adding WiFi for a smart home experience in a small package. You’ll get a room full of refreshing, purified air while controlling humidity levels, temperature and fan speed using the Evapolar app, or by connecting it to your existing Alexa or Google Home. The evaSMART is also eco-friendly: it uses evaporative water cooling to chill out, and it runs for 6-8 hours on just 12 watts. You can even create color playlists with the LED lighting to set the perfect mood for your summer day.

Even though it only weighs four pounds, the evaSMART Personal Air Conditioner is a heavy hitter in the portable air conditioning game. Normally it sells for $256, but right now you can snag it in white or go for it in gray for a cool $192.
