Btw, do they need a simple majority or 2/3rds to approve him? If its a simple majority than its already a fate accompli and this guy knows it. He doesn’t have to answer anything honestly…which is probably why he won’t.

p.s. to sr-gr - nominee only needs a simple majority for confirmation: ‘fix is in’, but D’s need to make this as challenging as possible to lay the groundwork for future litigation, if required.
