Look who’s suddenly in the business of trusting the media’s projections for the presidential race.

“It took long enough!” President Donald Trump groused via Twitter on Thursday morning in response to the Associated Press projecting him as the winner in Alaska. “What is taking North Carolina so long?”

The rest of the tweet was sprinkled with his typical lies about “illegal” votes against him in the swing states that led to his defeat against President-elect Joe Biden.

Trump’s embrace of the AP’s call clashes directly with his complaints a mere four days ago, after Biden was projected as the victor of the election.

“Since when does the Lamestream Media call who our next president will be?” the President tweeted at the time. “We have all learned a lot in the last two weeks!”

Despite Biden decisively winning the election, Trump has yet to accept the race results and has instead falsely smeared the vote counting process as corrupt. Yet he and his legal team have failed to prove there was any mass election fraud.
