The Trump campaign wasted little time cashing in on Attorney General William Barr’s conclusions from the Mueller report, releasing a video of clips of Democratic figures with “WRONG” stamped across their faces.
“Dems hyped collusion with no evidence,” grainy text races across the screen. “Mueller proves them wrong.”
Then clips come up of Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-CT), Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA), Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY) and DNC Chairman Tom Perez talking about the investigation followed by a game-show buzzer noise.
“The collusion hoax!” the ad proclaims, urging supporters to text “witchhunt” to a campaign number.
