President-elect Donald Trump and Vice President-elect Mike Pence are scheduled to speak at Carrier Corp.’s manufacturing facility in Indianapolis at 2 p.m. ET on Thursday, kicking off what Trump’s aides have billed as a post-election “thank you tour.”
On Tuesday, Trump and Carrier announced that they had reached a deal to keep about 1,000 of the company’s jobs in Indiana. Watch live via NBC News:
I don’t think I can stand to watch. I’m holding out for a real press conference, if that ever happens…
And the “deal” was apparently negotiated with Indiana state officials who are giving away $7 million in tax relief for Carrier. This is a bogus deal timed for propaganda…

Bread and circuses. Well, forget about the bread, it’s mostly circuses.
And now everyone who want’s a handout will say they are moving their plants to Mexico, and want Trump to pay them to stay. What happened to the GOP love of the freemarket?
It was just announced (by CNBC) that Carrier is however, moving another of its Indiana plants with 700 employees to Mexico. A news conference would give the media an opportunity to ask about this - but, of course, that is why Trump won’t hold one. An employee from the plant that’s moving was just interviewed and said “Why isn’t Trump working out a deal for us?”
