The Washington National Cathedral on Wednesday is expected to announce that it will begin hosting same-sex wedding ceremonies, the Washington Post reports.
The Cathedral is the seat of the Episcopal Church. Just as it did in 2009, the Cathedral will host the official prayer service for President Barack Obama’s inauguration this month.
