Votizen, the social media platform for political campaigning and finding out which of a user’s contacts are registered voters, has been acquired by Causes, a nonprofit fundraising website, TechCrunch reported Thursday. Votizen previously received funding from Sean Parker, the cofounder of Napster and former Facebook president, and was promoted by Al Gore. The price of the new acquisition was not disclosed at the time of this post.
