Via CNN, here’s Rick Santorum in Mississippi Sunday saying that TelePrompters should be made illegal in presidential campaigns.

“See, I always believed that when you run for president of the United States, it should be illegal to read off a teleprompter. Because all you’re doing is reading someone else’s words to people.”

The comment, which does not appear to have been said in jest, prompted a number of headlines Monday.
