Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump defended his rhetoric when asked in an interview aired Sunday if he was concerned about being used in a terrorist-affiliated recruitment video.
Trump was featured in a recruitment video for a prominent terror group affiliated with al Qaeda.
CBS News host John Dickerson asked Trump if he was concerned at all about being used in the video.
“They use other people, too,” Trump replied. “What am I going to do? I have to say what I have to say. And you know what I have to say? There’s a problem. We have to find out what is the problem. And we have to solve that problem.”
Um, this is not what he said. Or it’s, at the very least, not the money quote. Wonder why he didn’t repeat the “keep all the Muslims out” meme?
Because me saying it is the single most important thing that has ever existed.
The IS recruitment video is also a major recruitment tool being now used by the Trump campaign. It’s the blessing that’ll keep on giving, to Trump and IS. As far as Trump is concerned, that it strengthens his own candidacy is best news he’s had for a few days, and he gets a lot of best news these days, no matter what he says. Such is the state of affairs in American - shot to hell. Contrary to what I once considered to be common sense, Trump is very likely to see another yuuuuge boost to his support numbers, considering the type of populace who like and support him. IS wants Trump as the US President, and that makes sense to me. Trump is and will be IS a major recruitment tool for IS worldwide, probably even for the disaffected Muslim right here in the good ole land of the free. He even pisses me off and I’m only a typical citizen, watching the decay and implosion of my country’s government, taking my life right along with it.
A wretch has to do what a retch has to do
