Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump argued Sunday that he only lost the Iowa caucus because Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) took votes from retired neurosurgeon Dr. Ben Carson.
Trump said in an interview with CNN’s “State of the Union” that “there wasn’t a loss” for him in Iowa. Caucus results put him in second place, behind Cruz.
“There wasn’t a loss. I came in second. And I only came in second
because of the fact that Cruz took a lot of votes away from Carson that
should not have been taken away,” Trump said. “I
mean, he’s apologized, but I don’t know what comes of that. Let’s see
what happens. But that was the only reason I came in second.”
Sounds good to me.
Poor little Donnie. Doesn’t like the loser label. Someone comfortable in their own skin would brush off the loss and remind voters of President Huckabee and President Santorum.
Still stuck on the first step of grief, denial.
Crooze is my VP pick… He’s an amazing guy.
Naptime!. You seem tired.
