President Donald Trump on Sunday said that anybody who thinks the GOP effort to repeal and replace Obamacare is dead is just missing “the love and strength” in the Republican Party.

“Anybody (especially Fake News media) who thinks that Repeal & Replace of ObamaCare is dead does not know the love and strength in R Party,” Trump tweeted. “The real story turns out to be SURVEILLANCE and LEAKING!”

Just days ago, Trump threatened to “fight” the House Freedom Caucus in 2018 — when the next round of midterm elections will take place.

On Thursday, he called out three members of the hardline conservative House Freedom Caucus by name in a tweet telling them to “get on board” with his agenda.

And on Saturday, White House social media director and senior adviser Dan Scavino Jr. called Rep. Justin Amash (R-MI), another member of the caucus, a “big liability” and urged an opponent to step forward and unseat him during midterms.

As for repealing and replacing Obamacare, on the same day that Republicans pulled their failed repeal bill, House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) told reporters: “We’re going to be living with Obamacare for the foreseeable future.”
