Trump Tweets Vague Threat To Change Libel Laws Because Of NYT

AP

President Donald Trump seemed to suggest Thursday that laws about libel needed to be changed because he feels The New York Times has gotten him “wrong.”

Trump is very clearly not a fan of the media, but he seems to have a special grievance with the Times. This is the second time this week he has railed against them specifically. But the Times was one of the first news outlets Trump called after House Republicans decided to pull their Affordable Care Act repeal bill last week.
