Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) on Monday compared net neutrality to Obamacare shortly after President Obama expressed support for net neutrality.

Cruz’s communications director Amanda Carpenter followed suit with alarmist tweets about net neutrality.

Obama on Monday urged the Federal Communications Commission to keep Internet providers from offering two different speeds of service and cutting deals with specific sites like Netflix to offer faster service. Keeping cable companies from offering faster speeds for a price would maintain net neutrality.

  2. Fuck You Ted Cruz.
I’m sure all your supporters will fire up those dial-up modems and log into their AOL accounts to send off an ALL CAPS email to their (10 years deceased) Congressman about it. Right after “The Price is Right” is over.

Now that Obama fully supports it and can’t just be accused of lip service expect a bunch of people who would normally support this to get ODS.

Keep it up Teddy boy, never miss an opportunity to flap your lips and make us aware of our overwhelming propensity to show your ignorance on shit you know nothing of.

The majority of us …not so much.

  5. In answer to @amandacarpenter I don’t like my Internet and don’t want to keep it because it is too slow and too expensive.
