Rick Santorum has accepted the invitation to the NewsMax debate on December 27, hosted by Donald Trump — the businessman, media personality and, most controversially, prominent birther activist.
Santorum tweeted on Monday:
I have accepted the NewsMax debate in IA. Looking forward to promoting our Made In The USA economic plan. #fb #iacaucus #fitn
Newt Gingrich previously accepted the invitation on Saturday. On the other end, Ron Paul and Jon Huntsman have rejected Trump’s invitation. All the other candidates are currently unannounced as to whether they will participate.
