Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) on Thursday released a letter from his physician attesting to his “very good health.”

Sanders’ physician, Brian P. Monahan, has attended to the senator’s health for 26 years. Monahan listed specifics from Sanders’ medical records, including two hernia repairs and his blood pressure and cholesterol levels.

“You are in overall very good health and active in your professional work, and recreations lifestyle without limitation,” Monahan wrote.

Democratic presidential rival Hillary Clinton released a letter from her physician certifying her health in July. Republican frontrunner Donald Trump did the same in mid-December.

  1. Alas, I was hoping for a Trump-like summation of Bernie’s medical records. This is a letdown.

  2. Poor David Brock just can’t catch a break. Keep trying, little man, keep trying.

  3. Only “very good”? I want him to be “one of the healthiest people ever”.
