Russell Brand Blasts ‘Ken Doll’ Sean Hannity’s Treatment Of Palestinian Guest (VIDEO)

Russell Brand excoriated Fox News host Sean Hannity for his treatment of a Palestinian guest on his eponymous Fox News program.

Sean Hannity’s brusque treatment of a Palestinian guest earlier this month on his Fox News program really rubbed British actor Russell Brand the wrong way.

Brand broke down a clip of the tense, often one-sided discussion between Hannity and guest Yousef Munayyer line by line Tuesday on his YouTube video series “The Trews.” He took a personal shot at the Fox News host to kick things off.

“I don’t want to be petty or trivial, but Sean Hannity does look a bit like the Ken doll in the ‘Toy Story 3’ film,” Brand said. “Also, he has his name on a police badge in the corner of the screen, ‘Hannity!'”

He went on to excoriate the Fox News host for shouting over Munayyer and blocking the guest from speaking until he said whether or not he viewed Hamas as a terrorist organization.

“Good luck mate answering Sean’s question, because Sean doesn’t want an answer to your question,” Brand observed. “Sean wants to say more stuff while jabbing his finger aggressively.”

“One of the definitions of ‘terrorist’ is using intimidation to achieve your goals,” Brand said to wrap up his media criticism session. “Who in that situation was behaving like a terrorist? Using intimidation, bullying, being unreasonable? Sean Hannity. That’s where the terrorism is coming from.”

Hannity responded to Brand’s “terrorist” charge on his show Wednesday night, returning the insult by introducing Brand as “a D-List actor better known for his failed marriage to Katy Perry.”

“Russell, if you’re watching and I’m sure you will, take a close look at the TV so I can educate you because you’re kind of dumb and ignorant,” Hannity said.

He then read out a line from the Hamas charter on the destruction of Israel for Brand’s benefit.

“Hamas will seek to destroy Israel at any cost, even by using fellow Palestinian women and children as human shields,” Hannity said. “But apparently Russell can’t get it through his thick head and possibly fathom that this is the reality.”

    Good call, Russell.

  2. Thank goodness Russell is on the job.

We can all sleep soundly now.

  3. And watch while Hannity freaks out on camera about how decadent and disreputable the “ex drug addict” Brand is. For somebody who bullies as much as he does, Hannity sure does have a glass jaw. I don’t think he can take a punch.

  4. Probably not worth giving Hannity the publicity. This is what he wants.

  5. Seriously? It’s a facially ridiculous thing to say. I despise Hannity and everything he represents. But that doesn’t make the statement any less absurd.
