Who knows what calendar lurks in the heart of Rob?
Crack-smoking Toronto Mayor Rob Ford made a brief “appearance” Sunday night on Jimmy Kimmel’s post-Oscars special. Ford broke the late night fourth wall, going from opening monologue subject to actual show gag. The joke: Ford is actually scheduled to appear on Kimmel’s show Monday night.
“I can honestly say that I have never been more excited about a guest than I am for this one,” Kimmel said. “Our guest tomorrow night will be Toronto Mayor Rob Ford.”
Moments later, Ford emerged from backstage, wearing a tuxedo and waving to the crowd. Kimmel stopped him.
“You’re on the show tomorrow night,” Kimmel told Ford.
“Oh, sorry Jimmy,” Ford said, before walking back offstage.
