Ready For Hillary, the super PAC dedicated to supporting a potential presidential bid by Hillary Clinton ahead of the 2016 elections, on Monday named Christopher Guerrero its “Latino Americans Director.” Guerrero’s position was announced in a press release issued by the group.
“I’m excited to join the Ready for Hillary team as Latino Americans Director,” Guerrero said in a written statement accompanying the announcement. “The Latino community will be vital to the success of the Democratic nominee in 2016. By organizing our support early, we will ensure Hillary knows the strong support she can count on among Latino Americans should she decide to run. I look forward to working with grassroots leaders across the country as we encourage Hillary Clinton to run for president in 2016.”
Guerrero is a veteran of Clinton’s 2008 presidential campaign where he worked in California, Iowa, Minnesota, and Nevada. Afterwards, Guerrero worked with the California Democratic Party in the 2008 and 2010 elections and as a field director in 2011. Guerrero also worked as an operations director on Wendy Greuel’s unsuccessful mayoral campaign in Los Angeles.
