Canada and Germany are seen as the countries with the best chance of having “the most positive impact on world affairs in the next decade when compared to other countries,” according to a new online poll released Monday from Ipsos, commissioned by the Halifax International Security Forum.
Eighty-two percent of those polled in 24 different countries said that Canada is likely to have a positive impact, and 78 percent said the same about Germany. Seventy-five percent said the same about the United Nations, 73 percent cited the United Kingdom, 70 percent for France and 63 percent for the United States.
On the other side, only 33 percent said that Irasel will have a positive impact on world affiars, and an even smaller portion of 25 percent said Iran would be positive. See the whole list here.
The Ipsos poll interviewed 17,172 adults in Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, Great Britain, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Poland, Russia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Turkey and the United States of America from September 4-18.
