Poll: Angus King Up 12 Points In Maine Senate Race

Independent former Gov. Angus King still has a healthy lead in the open Maine Senate race.

King has 45 percent, in a poll released Thursday by Rasmussen, followed by Republican Charlie Summers at 33 percent and Democrat Cynthia Dill with only 14 percent. The survey of 500 likely voters was conducted Sept. 25, and has a 4.5 percent margin of error.

The PollTracker Average has King at 44.3 percent, Summers 33.7 percent, and Dill 14 percent.
