Speaking on Thursday, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) sought to downplay the Democrat’s loss in a special election this week. She acknowledged that the loss was a ‘disappointment,’ but said that it wouldn’t change the House Democrat’s strategy for the 2012 elections.
Reverting back to a sports analogy, Pelosi called the loss a mogul. ‘A mogul is a bump. You plant your pole and go faster down to your goal.’
