Immediately following the public inauguration ceremony on Monday, President Barack Obama went inside the U.S. Capitol to add his signature to the nominations for four cabinet-level posts: John Brennan to be director of the Central Intelligence Agency, Chuck Hagel to be secretary of defense, John Kerry to be secretary of state and Jack Lew to be secretary of the treasury.
