The New York Daily News took shots at Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) for his knocks against “New York values” on Friday’s cover.

The cover reads: “DROP DEAD, TED.”

It goes on to say, “Hey, Cruz: You don’t like N.Y. values? Go back to Canada!”

Here’s the cover:

Cruz said earlier this week that Republican frontrunner Donald Trump embodies “New York values,” trying to make it into a slur on East Coast liberalism. Trump has since turned the shot back on Cruz, saying New York values are the “energy” that got the city through 9/11.

This cover aligns the tabloid with Trump, which is an odd pairing after their December cover depicting Trump as beheading the State of Liberty.
