Special counsel Robert Mueller’s legal team on Friday afternoon notified Judge T.S. Ellis, the judge who oversaw Paul Manafort’s Virginia trial, that Manafort pleaded guilty to two counts in the D.C. case.
As part of Manafort’s plea agreement, he agreed not to appeal any trial or pre-trial issue in the Virginia case and admitted guilt for the counts on which the Virginia jury was unable to reach a verdict.
When will the twitter machine light up? No later than 5 am tomorrow is my bet. Paul must be on Dolt 45’s shit list now. Wait a minute, wasn’t Paul only a volunteer? For a very short time.
They’ve either given Spankee sedatives or put him in a straitjacket. He’s gonna be a human Krakatoa as soon as he gets his hands on his phone…
That’s so funny- I was about to write they’ve loaded him up and hog-tied him when I saw you already wrote the same thing!
So he’s guilty of the charges from last month’s trial, and he can’t appeal the verdict. He’s now admitted guilt to the additional charges that had a hung jury in last month’s trial. But the second trial still is coming up? He didn’t admit guilt or innocence in that trial?
Judge Cranky grumbles, belches, says “We’ll see.”
