Iowa Senators Skipping Caucus To Beat Snow Storm And Return To DC

The U.S. senators representing Iowa, Republicans Joni Ernst and Chuck Grassley, will not be able to attend Monday night’s caucuses due to a snowstorm headed toward the state.

A major snowstorm will hit the Hawkeye State on Monday night, but is expected to reach Iowa after the caucuses.

    Despite the intense use of energy to make ethanol and the low price of gas, these guys need to be there to ensure ethanol (read here “artificially high corn prices”) is still mandated by the Energy Act.
