Hulu, the online video streaming service that competes with Netflix, on Tuesday unveiled previews of the original and exclusive content offerings it will be releasing in 2013.
The full list of original series includes:
“The Awesomes“: An animated show about superheroes, for adults, from Saturday Night Live’s Seth Myers, due out summer 2013.
“The Wrong Mans“: A live action comedy about “two lowly office workers who become caught up in a deadly criminal conspiracy,” also due out summer 2013.
“Behind the Mask“: A documentary about sports mascots.
An additional list of exclusive content, which Hulu will have the rights to stream but which it didn’t commission nor produce, is also available on Businesswire. Meanwhile, Netflix and Amazon are also getting into the original content online streaming game. Hulu, a joint venture of News Corp., Disney, NBCUniversal and Providence Equity Partners, recently announced record revenue for 2012 and 3 million paying Hulu Plus subscribers, and its CEO and chief technology officer also announced they would be leaving the company.
