Kamala Harris Opposes Barr’s Nomination As Attorney General

Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) announced Thursday that she will vote no on attorney general nominee William Barr.

“While I respect Mr. Barr’s past public service, I do not believe he will defend independent investigations from attacks, embrace a smart on crime approach to public safety, and ensure equal protection under the law for every single American,” she said in a statement.

  2. Maybe nothing earth shattering, but I really like Kamala Harris.

    It’s a long way until 2020. But if I had to vote today, my vote would go to her (though she hasn’t announced yet).
