The National Republican Senatorial Committee poured millions of dollars into U.S. Senate races during a one-week period earlier this month, according to campaign finance filings on Monday.
The NRSC spent $1.25 million in Virginia; $750,000 in Wisconsin; $710,000 in Arizona; $520,000 in Nevada; $350,000 in Indiana; $320,000 in Montana; and $290,000 in North Dakota.
The sums were expended over a week-long period, ranging from Oct. 10-17, and signed in the disclosure documents on Friday, Oct. 19.
