Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump took credit Sunday for ABC News’ decision to cut ties with the New Hampshire Union Leader, which had planned to co-host a Republican debate with the network.
The network confirmed to Politico Sunday that it was cutting ties with the newspaper for its debate scheduled for Feb. 6, but did not offer a exact reason why. The report quoted an anonymous source who said the relationship between the two parties had been tense after the newspaper participated in the Democratic debate.
The newspaper has also railed against Trump in front page editorials. Trump had criticized the newspaper’s coverage of his campaign and he went on a Twitter rant Sunday in response to the network’s decision.

Forgive my bluntness, but fuck you, Trump, you coward. Too much of a little ignorant whining baby to risk one tough question. You’re not the king of anything, you orange-haired bullshitter, and you’re going to learn it soon enough.
I can’t speak for ABC, but I would think it’s because the newspaper has already made an endorsement. As such, they can’t be expected to be fair and balanced.
Trump’s last tweet of the night indicated that he was responsible for the big light rising in the morning sky around 7 am.
