Yes, it’s definitely an understatement, but I appreciate the way Dem leadership is sort of slowly, cautiously, and methodically building the case for impeachment. No matter what happens, whether or not the Senate will ever convict him, they are painting a picture of rank corruption and felonious behavior that they can hang around the necks of every Republican running in 2020. Especially PP. This will pay dividends for years and years to come.
