A former aide to Rep. John Shimkus (R-IL) was arrested over the weekend on assault charges after a scuffle with actress Lindsay Lohan, the Chicago Tribune reports. The charges were later dropped.

Lohan claimed 25-year-old Christian LaBella grabbed her in an argument over cell phone images at the W Hotel in Manhattan’s Union Square over the weekend.

Lohan, 26, and LaBella filled harassment complaints with police against each other after. LaBella’s arrest was voided when the charge could not be substantiated, the Associated Press reported.
