As Ted Cruz’s vice presidential pick, Carly Fiorina embraced the role of attack dog and criticized remarks made by John Boehner earlier this week in which former speaker called the Texas senator “Lucifer in the flesh” and a “miserable son of a bitch.”
“Well, it is despicable. It’s beyond the pale,” Fiorinia said, when asked by Hugh Hewitt about the comments on his radio show Friday.
She quickly pivoted to Donald Trump, the GOP frontrunner who is currently besting Cruz by more than 400 delegates in the race for the Republican presidential nomination.
“But I think it tells you everything you need to know about Donald Trump. John Boehner said, ‘Yeah, we’re texting and golfing buddies,'” Fiorina said, referring to how Boehner characterized his relationship with Trump at the same event he dissed Cruz.
“Ok, great. That’s why I have been crystal clear in saying that Donald Trump will never challenge the system, because he’s texting and golfing buddies with John Boehner,” Fiorina said.
You know what else is “despicable” and “beyond the pale”? Being a pathological liar.
And here I thought that saying things that are ‘despicable’ and ‘beyond the pale’ were OK with her. After all, she says things that are ‘despicable’ and ‘beyond the pale’ about Planned Parenthood all the time.
Comparing Cruz to Lucifer is actually being generous. He’s way worse than that.
Lucifer is actually a mythological being. Cruz is real. So, you got a real point there.
Hey Snarly:
Bonehead was only saying out loud what most of us have been thinking for the four years since that Mephistophelean asshole emerged on the national stage.
P.S. Sorry to use big words like Mephistophelean, but you took Luciferean away from me. Maybe you can use your Stanford education to look it up.
