Former Speaker of the House John Boehner aired his extreme dislike of GOP presidential candidate Sen Ted Cruz (R-TX) during a Wednesday campus talk, calling Cruz “Lucifer in the flesh,” according to Stanford Daily.
The Stanford University event focused on Boehner’s views on the current crop of presidential candidates, according to the local paper, with Boehner airing his feelings about the Texas senator, who he called “a miserable son of a bitch.”
“Lucifer in the flesh,” Boehner said, according to Standford Daily. “I have Democrat friends and Republican friends. I get along with almost everyone, but I have never worked with a more miserable son of a bitch in my life.”
Boehner went on to describe Ohio Gov. John Kasich (R) as a friend but characterized Donald Trump as the presumptive nominee. He also said he would vote for Trump in the general election but would not vote for Cruz.
On the Democratic side, Boehner got some negative reactions from the crowd by echoing Trump’s “woman card” comment about Hillary Clinton, saying “Oh, I’m a woman, vote for me!”
Cruz: Thanks John. I am glad no one likes me, especially the establishment.
Old school, new school.
Is there any difference?
Orange loves Orange.
So John, what I hear you saying is…
Boner and I actually agree on something. Who’d a thunk it?
