Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) launched a new social media site on Wednesday, TeamBoehner.com. The new site is intended to serve as a central location for his social media efforts during the 2012 election season.
According to the site, Boehner is aiming to connect with “the millions of Americans who understand that the bigger our government gets, the smaller its people become.”
The website will deliver exclusive content, including policy updates and strategy memos in addition to cooperating with Boehner’s other fundraising efforts.
“Team Boehner members get the inside scoop on our efforts to secure freedom for the American people, and fight for a smaller, less costly and more accountable government,” Boehner said in a video welcoming visitors to the new venture.
