Vice President Joe Biden said Friday he was “shooting” to present recommendations on gun violence to President Obama by Tuesday of next week, but warned that “there is no silver bullet” to reforming the nation’s gun laws.

“I hope I get it done by then,” Biden told reporters at a White House meeting with representatives of the video game industry, per a pool report.

Biden’s group is tasked with examining the broad causes of gun violence, and advocates on both sides have called for the inclusion of cultural influences such as video games and movies in that discussion. Biden also met with gun owner groups, the National Rifle Association, and the entertainment industry on Thursday.

“We were disappointed with how little this meeting had to do with keeping our children safe and how much it had to do with an agenda to attack the Second Amendment,” read an NRA statement issued after the meeting.
