The House is in GOP hands. It seems very unlikely at this point that the Republicans take the Senate. However, a couple of hours ago it looks like Dems were seriously contesting a good four seats that people had assumed were in GOP hands — Nevada, Colorado, Illinois and Pennsylvania. Both Illinois and Pennsylvania have moved ever so slightly into GOP hands. At this moment 25k votes for GOP in Illinois and the same for the GOP in PA. Still enough outstanding to make it too seem to call. But the odds of Dems seriously outperforming expectations on the Senate side have dimmed a bit.
Late Update: PA race still pretty tight. But Kirk is starting to open up a real lead in Illinois.
