A big shoe could potentially drop in the Wisconsin Supreme Court race — with a bunch of new votes in the Republican stronghold county of Waukesha.

WTMJ radio in Milwaukee, which has the same parent company as the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, reports:

Newsradio 620 WTMJ’s John Mercure reports, “I have been told that several thousand votes are currently unaccounted for and that the majority of them will end up going to David Prosser.”

“We’re not talking a couple hundred. We’re not even talking a couple thousand. I have been told and confirmed through multiple sources that this is several thousand votes and it will completely and obviously change the dynamic.”

National Review reports that Prosser would net over 7,000 votes.

TPM called the county clerk’s office, which told us to wait for County Clerk Kathy Nickolaus’s (R) press conference at 5:30 p.m. CT.
