From The Reporter’s Notebook

Donald Trump’s eldest daughter Ivanka Trump and her husband, Jared Kushner, are reportedly searching for a house in Washington, D.C., amid talks that Kushner will serve as a White House adviser, TPM’s Kristin Salaky wrote. Not much is clear about when they’ll make the move to the nation’s capital, CNN reported.

Agree or Disagree?

Josh Marshall: “It seems at least plausible that the Tribune story [on Boeing CEO Dennis Muilenburg’s speech on Friday] was the first or one of the first reports of the speech Trump or his team saw. Again, this is pure inference. We have no proof that the speech or the write-up triggered the tweet. We don’t know that Trump or anyone close to him was aware of the speech at all. But I think it is reasonable to say that this is an odd thing to tweet about out of the blue, especially with numbers that appear to be fictitious.”

Say What?!

“I’m not committing not to run.”

– Vice President Joe Biden told reporters that he was “not committing to anything” but wouldn’t rule out a 2020 run for president, because “what the hell, man.”

BUZZING: Today in the Hive

From a TPM Prime member: “Somebody knew what they were doing, but I’m still not ready to assign Parscale the credit. Over a million more people voted in Florida this year than 2012. More people voted in Pennsylvania and Michigan this year than 2012. Wisconsin raw vote looks like it might be down a fraction, pending official results, but WIGOP has waged a years-long war to suppress the vote there. These aren’t the numbers we’d see if there was some evil genius at vote suppression in key states at work in the Trump campaign, as Parscale claimed to be. I’m still of the opinion that the Kochs, Priebus, and Kobach probably each had more to do with it than Parscale.”

Related: Megyn Kelly said the responsibility for a deluge of threats she and her family faced lies with Trump and his social media director Dan Scavino.
