The Mayor of Hernando, Mississippi confirmed Friday that a woman he was romantically involved with sent a naked photo of him to city aldermen, TPM’s Katherine Krueger wrote. The photo, which shows Johnson nude in the shower, was emailed to some city officials with the subject line “your mayor.” Johnson told The Clarion-Ledger that the photo was meant to stay private between two consenting adults and he does not know why the woman sent the photo to city officials.

Josh Marshall: “TPM Readers know, because it’s been one of the site’s core perennial issues for 15 years, that people’s right to their vote gets disregarded all the time. But it is by definition almost always the votes of the marginalized and those lacking power, almost always those most loosely tied to the political system. And usually it either does not or cannot be proven to swing an actual election. It is quite another thing, under the bright lights of intense national press scrutiny to take the win away from the guy who unambiguously won the most votes.”

The Political genius, Susan Sarandon, said she would vote for Trump before she’d vote for Hilary. Yes, the same Susan Sarandon who urged democrats to vote for Nader, not Gore. Voila! George Bush! I’m also reminded of when she said she’d move to Canada if Bush won a second term, but alas…. People, and I’m mainly talking Bernie supporters, QUIT ATTACKING AND EATING YOUR OWN!!! I’ve seen us do it too many times. I have seen us reject the good because we don’t get the perfect. One thing Ronald Reagan preached before he became senile. “Thou shalt not attack a fellow Republican.” Can we stop attacking each other? Bill Clinton said he’s voting for Bernie if he wins the nomination. You remember? Hilary’s husband? Instead I hear Bernie’s Bro’s repeat Republican talking points in social media. Try to remember the enemy is the GOP — not HRC or Bernie. Jeez people, don’t lose focus. It’s why people hate liberals. We lose!”
