Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton said Sunday that the FBI hasn’t yet contacted her to discuss her emails.

The ongoing FBI investigation focuses on whether classified information was mishandled on the Democratic presidential frontrunner’s email server. Clinton is not said to be the target of the investigation.

NBC News’ “Meet the Press” host Chuck Todd asked Clinton if the FBI had contacted her.

“No, no, they haven’t. But, you know, back in August, we made clear that I’m happy to answer any questions that anybody might have,” Clinton said. “And I stand by that.”

She told Todd that she wasn’t nervous if the investigation didn’t wrap up before the convention, adding that she didn’t believe “anything inappropriate was done.”

  3. Wow! Hopefully the end of this will be coming soon!

  4. The media has been disgraceful on this ridiculous email story. It has variously reported: Hillary is under criminal investigation. She isn’t. That there were 147 (!!!) FBI agents on the case. The real number is about 12. And now claiming that she has already been contacted by the FBI. And yet somehow, the GOP will laughably charge that the press is in the tank for Hillary.

She has stood up to two decades of garbage thrown her way by the GOP slime machine and a compliant press. None of the Republicans could withstand a month’s worth of her coverage or congressional “investigations” without being reduced to a quivering ball.

  5. Any contact she has with the FBI will most likely be routine, some bureaucratic housekeeping procedure required in the course of wrapping up the investigation. That will not stop the GOP from trying to make it sound like she is on their 10 most wanted list.
