White House press secretary Jay Carney said Wednesday that the U.S. congratulates Israel on their recent elections, which resulted in Prime Minister Netanyahu and his allies retaining a slim majority. Carney said it is “very likely” President Obama will speak with Netanyahu, but he wouldn’t give a timeline. “When appropriate, I’m sure that call will take place,” Carneys aid.
