Student DNC Speaker Touts Obama’s Work Increasing Pell Grants

Ryan Case, a 28 year-old student at the University of Colorado, said on Tuesday at the Democratic National Convention that it is thanks to President Obama’s doubling of the Pell Grant budget that she will be able to graduate from college.

“There’s just no way I’d be able to pay for school without the Pell grant funding President Obama doubled,” Case said, saying that’s why he’s knocking on doors for Obama.
