A day after Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said that Iran was “under intense pressure from the Russians and Chinese” to defuse nuclear tensions, Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi said that nuclear discussions are “on the right track.” Salehi also said he was “optimistic” about the next round of discussions, set to take place in Moscow on June 18-19.
The Moscow talks come after last month’s meeting in Baghdad between Iran and six other nations — including Britain, China, France, Germany, Russia, and the United States — failed to come to a resolution.
