Bob Kerrey, the Democratic Senate candidate in Nebraska, has purchased a home in Omaha, reports the Omaha World-Herald:
He says he paid $225,000.
Kerrey has lived for the past 12 years in New York City. He returned home in February and filed to run for office, listing a guest house of a supporter as his official residence.
He has been shopping for homes for several months and briefly considered a condo downtown.
