According to White House reporter Major Garrett, President Obama will make a trip to Nevada this February to focus on jobs.

Garrett tweeted today that the President will make a policy trip to Las Vegas, with a focus on jobs.

Sen. Harry Reid is also expected to attend the President’s appearances.

Interestingly, the announcement of Obama’s trip comes amid recent controversy over Reid’s apology for a remark during the 2008 campaign that described Obama as “light-skinned” and with “no Negro dialect.”
