Republican National Committee Chair Reince Priebus seems hopeful that Donald Trump will finally pivot.
Priebus told reporters on a Tuesday conference call that Trump has had “a good couple of weeks” with “prepared, mature comments on the campaign trail,” according to The Hill.
“It’s going to be important for us and for Donald Trump to continue down this measured path that he’s on and if he does that, I think he’s going to be tied or ahead at or just after Labor Day,” Priebus said, according to The Hill.
After Trump hired Kellyanne Conway as his campaign manager and admitted that he has regrets about some of his personal attacks on the campaign trail, speculation that the Republican nominee will soften his rhetoric has bubbled to the surface again. But it’s not clear that Trump will drop the personal attacks that have characterized his campaign and instead focus on policy. Trump has suggested he could soften his policy regarding undocumented immigrants, and Conway has said the campaign will “sharpen the message.” But she also said the campaign will continue to let Trump be himself.
Aw, Rince, you’ve been at the Koolaid again, I see.
How does Douchey McDoucheypants figure that Americans are going to suddenly forget the literally thousands of bullshit racist and bigoted statements that Hillary’s Opponent has made up to this point?
BULLSHIT!
Latinos: Sure, we will no longer be rapists.
Muslims: By labor day, we will be able to practice our religion without any persecution from Republicans.
BLM: By labor day, we will all join White Lives Matter.
GOP: No you fools, we will simply suppress your vote, we don’t really like you; we never will.
Says the sniveling little weasel who spends too much time watching Faux nooze.
No Reince he will stick has size 12’s in his mouth again.
